Gabriel's is catching up on the year

Where in the world has the time gone? We haven't blogged in so long
I must update in nutshells!

Disney was a hoot

Everyone should experience Sedona!

Doesn't everyone sit on the edge of the Grand Canyon?
( and yes, I did pick out my Lilly shift to go with the Canyon!!)

I grabbed these brochures because, I want to visit Santas Village and Story Land.
I have this vague memory that I did when I was little but that could be me living vicariously through my friend Victoria's childhood memories!!!
That can be in my "Places yet to Visit" blog

Ikea's Swedish Meatballs
Don't ask why I snapped this pic or even why they are blog worthy!
A friend was eating them and I turned around and it was like a cult..
Everyone on line had these little balls on their plate!
I am not sure what I am missing but obviously I didn't get the memo to order them!

Lilly Pulitzer
I admit it, I need a self help group to contain my jumping out of a car doing 60 when I see a Lilly Store!
I'm not supposed to say.. that is only 1/4 of my Lilly

Son, at the Patriots vs Jets game 2011
Good time had by all

 Son, receiving his letterman jacket.
Big man on campus ... no Greg Brady, but then, who is!!!

Mr. Pippin and Miss Potter attend a birthday pahhteee!
...and don't they look thrilled!

Sonny boy and I ( no, we didn't plan the matching outfits) hang with
Miss Richfield

We made a pilgrimage on Christmas Eve to La Salette Shrine
When you are done reading this blog entry why not take a gander at the sight
and stock up on your Saint statues!

The girls were not trying to win the
"Look the most like Mary" award with their shawls around their heads,
it was -4 degrees and snowing!

Stopped for dinner on the way home...
A serious shout out to Tex Barry's Coney Island hot dogs!

Tex Barry's is a well preserved diner from your Grandparents era. The hot dog is their signature dish so that is what you must order but be sure to include their special sauce on it. We thought we would each order just one dog each and ended up eating two a piece. Art, the owner who inherited the business from his mother, was a doll.
Visit them on their fan page!

Somethings to share that made me very happy ...
Isn't that why you tune into this blog?

Google Firefox had a Rankin Bass Rudolph border this winter.
I still haven't changed it and I hold my breath every day that Mr. Google doesn't take it away!

I hope you all have remembered so I do not have to tell my entire story over..
I adore anything Rankin Bass!

How lucky can a girl be to get posable Davey and Goliath figures!

Family frolics..in a nutshell of course

Nephew Kevin in Rye, New York

Niece Britton with Great Niece Clemens

Sisters!

Wickham and Dix walking in Central Park

Sister Boo Sailing on her dream SS

Nephews Kevin and Brian

Granny Great with Great Grand-daughter Clemens

Now that all the nutshells are taken care of I would like to get on to something of great importance!
Selling New York!

This is Maggie Kent, she is my new Ina Garten
Maggie is with the CORE Real Estate Group..

 Hello Maggie!

Well, I do also favor Laurel Rosenbluth, it's so hard to chose my fav!

Now, I am intrigued with the side plots, yes they do have them,
one must listen to all the chatter going on off camera!

Laurel showed her daughter Merry "Meredith" some potential apartments she can move back into the NYC from her beautiful estate in Connecticut.
We are left hanging.. .Will Meredith be moving back to NYC with her family to be closer to Mom and her hubby will have no commute? I don't know, I have no idea what is happening with that story line!!!

Meredith and Mom
So, yes, I walk around now with Meredith's happiness hanging over my head! She looked so worried about her living situation and so perplexed, she stated she was so "nostalgic for NYC". They toasted to her friends at the end of the episode.."Here is to uptown girls"
But, Merry are you one again??

Laurel also had a client that while yes she had a mile long wish list with a budge of $2.5 million she had a dog that over exceeded the weight limit to the condo she wanted. Oh the horror! We finally found the apartment we ( I use the queen's we, I mean the client) wanted, fit in our budget and the doggie was the problem!!?? We, the audience, were told she was going to put the doggie on a diet,
did we ever see the reveal of this clients fate?

I'm left with so many questions... I just want to know my multi million dollar clients I am shown and grow bonded to over the episode are happy!!
Is that too much to ask?

Don't even get me started on Maggie's price-lowering fiasco surrounding the
Mullberry Street loft, way back in episode 2.

Well, I leave you with these rambling thoughts for now.
Trust me, they never stop!

Leaving with a shot of our first snowfall
